CEP Conference 2024_Early bird ends

Lock in, up to 15% discount with early bird registeration

CEPs Keeping Cool conference at Christchurch Town Hall on 28 and 29 May is only a few weeks away. Early bird registrations enjoy significant discount and early bird is closing very soon, at 5pm, Wednesday, 17 April.

This year, we are partnering again with the Bioenergy Association to deliver a stellar programme across two presentation auditoria plus workshops on Asset Management, IoT Strategies and Lifecycle Carbon Assessment. These are strictly limited and first come, first served, so spaces need to be booked early.

Our international Keynotes come from Europe and the US and will be addressing the conference on Energy Efficiency and Voluntary Carbon Markets.

Our keynote speakers are:

CEP Conference Keynote Speaker Annette Nazareth
CEP Conference 2024 Keynote Speaker Brian Motherway

Annette Nazareth, Chair of the Integrity Council for Voluntary Carbon Markets, the driver of integrity standards born out of the Taskforce on Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets initiated by Mark Carney in 2020. Annette is also a former Commissioner of the SEC.

Annette will be talking about ICVCM’s latest work and initiatives to bring reliable, valuable and credible offsets to the market, and what that will mean for New Zealand businesses who are looking to use offsetting to cover some of those hard to abate emissions.

Dr Brian Motherway who heads the IEA’s work on energy efficiency and inclusive transitions. Prior to that he was CEO at the Sustainable Energy Authority of the Republic of Ireland.

Brian is particularly interested in people-centred solutions and will be sharing great lessons on effective efficiency policy and people-centred initiatives from around the world. He says, ‘It is such an important time for energy efficiency globally, with firm commitments made in COP and a growing understanding of how efficiency action can quickly reduce emissions as well as lowering energy bills and enhancing people’s lives.’

It’s testament to the growing status of our conference that we can attract such leading, global figures and attending the Keeping Cool conference is the best opportunity of the year to come together, exchange ideas and learn from each other, all in a relaxed and cool environment so don’t delay, register today.

Exhibiting or sponsoring our conference is a great way to engage with our audience to help promote your brand, key messages, products and services.

If you are interested in learning more, please do not hesitate to contact the CEP office on 04 385 2839 or by email for a confidential discussion.
