Self-directed training for professional development for carbon and energy professionals

CEP provides online learning opportunities for people who want to build knowledge at their own pace, where and when it suits them. These modules are great for early career professionals looking to build their knowledge and credentials and seasoned professionals looking for CPD opportunities. You can take as many or as few as you choose.

Modules as preparation for digital badges

While each self-directed training module stands alone, it also prepares you to achieve a digital badge on the same topic. The digital badge makes your expertise instantly visible and verifiable online to employers and clients.

Please note, completing a module and receiving the module completion certificate does not mean you have achieved the digital badge. If you would like to hold the digital badge, you can take the associated online exam. When you have passed the online exam and are a participant in CEP’s Certification Scheme, you will receive the digital badge.

CEP professional certifications

Certain combinations of CEP self-directed training modules prepare you to achieve our professional level Certified Professional in Energy^TM (CPE) and Certified Professional in Carbon^TM (CPC) certifications.

These certifications are also supported by digital badges, which allow clients or employers to verify your credential with a single mouse-click.
