This training module on “Target Setting and Monitoring” equips participants with the skills to effectively quantify goals and objectives, focusing on continuous improvement rather than mere compliance.
Learners will discover how to identify and access relevant data, recognise the appropriate metrics for specific applications, and establish accurate baselines when setting targets. Additionally, the module covers the design of comprehensive monitoring regimes, ensuring that participants can implement effective strategies for sustainability and performance enhancement within their organisations.

- This module includes several short gateway quizzes that need to be passed for progression.
- Once you have completed all lessons, you will have access to a practice examination to help prepare you for the assessment examination.
- There is no limit on the number of times you can access the practice examination, we recommend you repeat the exercise until you have achieved at least 80%.

Certification requirements
You will achieve your full Certified Professional in Energy and/or Certified Professional in Carbon certification after you have:

- Accepted our Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct and our Disciplinary procedures.
- Registered for the CEP Certification Scheme.
