CEP extends an invitation from the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (GNZCC) to join their webinar and panel discussion on Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Networks on 29th and 30th of October from 7:30pm to 9:00pm (NSZT).

This is a special webinar series on Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Networks, a voluntary business-driven initiative that has been instrumental in advancing industrial decarbonisation in Germany. This series will highlight how businesses can collaborate to reduce energy consumption and emissions, and thereby simultaneously address climate goals and energy expenses.

About the Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Networks:
Germany’s Energy Efficiency Networks have become a key strategy for companies to work together in improving energy efficiency, cutting costs, and reducing emissions. Since their establishment, the networks have enabled businesses to exchange knowledge and jointly set energy-saving targets, helping to drive significant progress toward Germany’s climate goals.

Panel Discussion:
Join industry leaders from Germany and New Zealand to discuss the Networks’ successes and how this model could be adapted for New Zealand.

– Mike Hopkins (CEO, Carbon and Energy Professionals New Zealand)
– Insa Errey (Sector Programme Lead, EECA)
– Franziska Teichmann (Head of the German Secretariat for the Energy Cooperation with Australia and New Zealand)
– Bhawesh Singh (Technical Manager, Stiebel Eltron NZ)

Why Attend:

  • Learn how the Networks have driven energy efficiency and emissions reductions in Germany.
  • Discuss how similar networks can be implemented in New Zealand.
  • Gain insights from energy experts and company leaders.
