About the Role
As a Graduate Advisor, you’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced consultants on diverse projects involving solar, onshore, and offshore wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). With project sizes ranging from a few kilowatts to gigawatts, every assignment brings unique learning opportunities.
You’ll be based in our New Plymouth head office—New Zealand’s energy capital—renowned for its coastal lifestyle, vibrant culture, and leadership in sustainability and innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting feasibility assessments and high-level system design
- Conducting research and modelling, and contributing to client advisory work
- Assisting with environmental planning and engineering reviews
- Participating in system commissioning, testing, and performance verification
- Engaging in technical training and liaising with project stakeholders
- Contributing to construction and project management activities
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, or similar), or
- A Bachelor of Science in Energy Science & Technology or Energy Management
- A genuine passion for renewable energy and energy equity
- A desire to pursue postgraduate or Masters study in the future (even better if you have one already!)
