The dairy industry is a key sector in New Zealand’s economy and plays a crucial role in the country’s energy transition.  Similarly, in Germany, dairy processing is a major economic driver and one of the largest in Europe.  Both countries have introduced various initiatives in recent years to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability, yet significant challenges remain in fully decarbonising the sector.

This webinar will provide an overview of the dairy processing industries in both countries, examining their economic impact, emissions, sustainability initiatives, and future challenges.  It will also present financial and technological solutions to support further decarbonisation.  Experts from industry, research, and government agencies will share insights and answer questions.
