The role: 

We are seeking a Renewable Energy Advisor, and as we are rapidly growing our team in a multi-disciplined energy industry, we are open-minded about applicants’ experience, technical background and qualifications.

Above all, we want this person to share in our long-term vision of success in the renewable energy sector. The successful applicant will be leading and/or supporting projects in our renewable energy and energy efficiency business lines within Australasia, the Pacific and Caribbean regions.  Building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally to ensure success in this role and business continuity will be a key part of this role.

Our Renewable Energy team’s day-to-day tasks include feasibility studies, conducting financial and economic modelling of energy systems, engineering design review, project and contract management of renewables construction, energy policy advisory, stakeholder consultation, HSE review, site assessments, plant inspections, energy audits, decarbonisation investment planning, capacity building training, operations and maintenance advisory. Energy technologies we work with include solar, onshore and offshore wind, hydro, microhydro, battery energy storage systems (BESS), Electric Vehicles, diesel/gas generation, controls integration, load management.

Your initial tasks will be assigned according to your skillset, and you’ll quickly branch into other disciplines according to your personal development plan and as business opportunities arise.

What we need from you:

  • You will hold as a minimum a Bachelor of Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Technology, Planning, Natural Resource Management, Development Studies, Environmental Science/Management or similar.
  • Post Graduate Qualifications and industry certifications are an advantage but not essential.
  • A range of experience levels will be considered from graduate to 12+ years.
