Simon is a Senior Consultant – Climate Change and Sustainability Services at Ernst & Young.

He is an Official Member of Engineering New Zealand (MEngNZ) and both a CEP Carbon and Energy Professional and Commercial Buildings Energy Specialist.

Simon is based in Wellington and specialises in commercial energy and carbon audits, management, strategy and procurement. His technical skills include HVAC optimisation, solar PV studies, lighting, controls and other processes improvements. Simon also has vast experience with developing business cases and interactive business intelligence dashboards for higher management.

Simon represented New Zealand at the 2017 Shell Eco-Marathon Asia; a competition focused on energy efficiency. Simon’s team built one of the first fully recyclable electric cars which achieved a road mileage of 105 km/kWh.

Simon graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) specialising in Mechanical Engineering.
