For Jackson Engineering Advisers, their purpose is simple: to create building service systems that work. For over 20 years they’ve used their world-class thinking and problem-solving skills to make heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (new and existing) fit for purpose and energy efficient. Their specialist HVAC skills have seen them work on all sorts of jobs from dairy factories, office blocks and hospitals to underwater restaurants in the Maldives! They love what they do and they’re very good at it. CEO Lance Jimmieson says, “Our mission is to elevate the Building Services industry through leadership and everything we do works towards our company vision: to be the most trusted Building Services company in the industry.” Jacksons has five offices around NZ and they work nationwide and internationally. They particularly specialise in helping building owners solve issues with their existing building services, building performance, and improving the energy efficiency of their properties.
Jackson Engineering’s managing director Lance Jimmieson continues to lead an industry focus towards the built environment – he was in the first bunch of New Zealanders to qualify as a NABERSNZ Accredited Assessor and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional. Lance is also a course developer and trainer in Building Services courses such as Continuous Commissioning, operated by Carbon & Energy Professionals NZ, further demonstrating his focus on improving the service delivery from the HVAC trade and leading improvements in the performance of existing buildings. Lance is also an active member of the Facilities Management Association and the NZ Green Building Council, working to improve the built environment.
